Seca Corporation and Omron Healthcare, Inc. Donates Medical Equipment for Health-Smart AME

Seca Corpseca-703__220__wireless_feature_PNG_02oration donated Seca 703 medical scales and Omron Healthcare, Inc. donated blood pressure monitors and cuffs in support of the African Methodist Episcopal (AME) Health-Smart Church Model Program (Health-Smart AME). The medical scales and blood pressure monitors will be used to track the program participants’ progress during Health-Smart AME.

Health-Smart AME is currently being implemented in AME churches throughout Florida under the leadership of Dr. Carolyn M. Tucker (Principal Investigator), Dr. Penny Ralston, and Bishop and Mrs. Adam J. Richardson, Jr. of the 11th Episcopal District of the AME Church. The program is funded by a grant from the Florida Blue Foundation.
